I am an Associate professor in the Laboratorio de Ecositemas y Bosques (EcoBos) at Universidad de La Frontera (UFRO), and researcher of the CENAMAD Basal Excellence Research center.  My work focus on forest ecology and restoration. I have recently co-edited the book: Restauración de Ecosistemas Forestales (You can buy it here!).

I teach in the Facultad de Ciencias Agropecuarias y Medioambiente  (e.g., Natural resources Management Master program, Doctoral program in Agri-food sciences and environment) and serve on the University Forest board [Parque  Rucamanque].

My current research includes urban heritage trees and biodiversity conservation in forestry plantations.
