I work as Associate professor in the Laboratorio de Ecositemas y Bosques (EcoBos) at Universidad de La Frontera (UFRO).  I am also part of the basal excellence research center: CENAMAD.  My main interests deal with forest ecology and restoration.  

I teach undergrads and graduate students in the Facultad de Ciencias Agropecuarias y Medioambiente  (e.g., Natural resources Management Master program, Doctoral program in Agri-food sciences and environment).  I am part of the board of the University Forest  [Parque Ecológico y Cultural Rucamanque; (you can visit us!)] and I have also worked to foster waste separation at UFRO (SepaRRRemos).  

My research focus on restoration ecology, including conversion of plantations, invasive plant species management, and topics related with forest responsible management.
